We appreciate your continued commitment to your child\u2019s education. However, we would like to emphasize the critical role that consistent attendance plays in your child\u2019s academic success and overall well-being.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Students who miss a substantial number of school days are at increased risk of:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Falling behind academically<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Being retained and not promoted to the next grade level<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Being reported to the State of Nevada as chronically absent<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Experiencing challenges in forming and maintaining relationships with peers and teachers<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><em><strong><em>To report your child\u2019s absence in advance, you must login to ParentSquare and complete the Report Student Attendance form. Select the button below to login and access the form.<\/em><\/strong><\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.parentsquare.com\/feeds\/53834630\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Report Student Attendance<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Additional notes before reporting an absence:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Be advised that only absences with a signed doctor\u2019s note will be excused. Any other absences reported will be verified, but still count against the student\u2019s overall attendance.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Students will automatically be unenrolled after 10 consecutive absences where their whereabouts are unknown.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Students will automatically be unenrolled after 20 consecutive absences.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Elementary students that reach 18 absences in an academic year may be held back, not advancing to the next grade level.<br>Middle school students will lose credit for any classes with 10 or more unexcused absences per semester.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Online Attendance At Legacy Traditional Schools, we understand that occasional absences may be unavoidable due to various circumstances.
