Campus Security and Safety
Legacy’s permanent school buildings in Nevada provide an array of measures to encourage school and community safety.
Raptor Visitor Management System
Visitors are guided to a singular entry point and are logged in through the Raptor’s Visitor Management System. Every parent, guest, contractor, and volunteer is required to check-in with the front office and present a valid state I.D before accessing the school premises.
Secure Perimeter Fencing
Legacy Nevada schools emphasize secure perimeter fencing systems. Gates and access points are overseen by authorized personnel and are managed by a combination of mechanical and electromechanical locks.
Emergency Communications
Emergency communications tools are in place to efficiently alert the designated audience and relevant response agencies. Within the campus, portable radios facilitate continuous communication among staff members throughout the school day.
Emergency Drills, Training, and Awareness
Regular emergency drills and training of staff, students, and other associates fortify the school’s preparedness to tackle emergency situations. Our training also emphasizes mental health, including modules on suicide prevention and awareness.
