Mozart
Performing Arts
Building well-rounded students through performance.

We don’t cut
creativity, we
expand it
The Mozart Performing Arts Program encourages students to
expand their passion for music and performance as they
participate in music classes four days per week. These 45
minutes classes focus on instrumental music, vocal music,
and more.

Performing Arts Curriculum
Students participate in high-quality music classes and perform in both instrumental — band, orchestra, or recorder — and vocal ensembles. (Program offerings and/or availability may vary by campus and grade level).
Piano
Students learn basic keyboard skills in our state-of-the-art piano labs. Teachers can communicate and provide feedback to each student through headsets, allowing everyone to learn at their own pace.
Instrumental & Vocal Music Ensembles
Performing in an ensemble provides students the opportunity to build teamwork skills in the music classroom. Students learn the basics in performance technique, concert literature, and note reading. Performances throughout the year showcase what they have learned.
Music History and Theory
While connecting to composers and musicians of the past, students analyze and respond to a variety of music. Students learn music theory and notation through games, exercises, and compositions of their very own.
